The Atlas 414A 14,000 pound capacity four post lifts are designed and built to commercial grade standards and will provide many years of service. Most truck shipments will be delivered by a commercial freight carrier operating a tractor/trailer rig. The semi trailer will be enclosed. Most commercial carriers have smaller straight trucks and some have small flatbed trucks, but the majority of freight companies will not use these smaller trucks for your delivery. Greg Smith Equipment cannot guarantee the type of truck that will be used for delivery. You should assume that your product will be delivered on a tractor/trailer rig that uses a 53 foot enclosed trailer. This is a VERY LONG rig. It is the truck driver's responsibility to make sure that your product is brought to the back of the delivery truck. It is the customer's responsibility to unload the product from the truck. Features: The Atlas 414A (14,000 LB. capacity alignment lift) incorporates many structural and cosmetic features that are found on lifts costing thousands of dollars more money. The Atlas 414A is tested to ensure that this alignment lift system will perform flawlessly at its rated capacities. The Atlas 414A uses a high strength cable system (with a under runway oversized hydraulic cylinder) powered by a 220 volt (single phase) power unit to raise and lower the lift. Many competitors use an "old style" chain lifting system with an exposed hydraulic cylinder system. Old style chain lifts are difficult to "level" properly and the exposed hydraulic cylinder is responsible for numerous "door dings".
The Atlas 414A alignment lift incorporates a lock ladder system in each column and all four column locks are simultaneously air activated from the power unit column. The runways are bolted to the cross tubes, but can be adjusted (moved in) if needed.

Atlas RJ-6000 Rolling Jacks:
The Atlas RJ-6000 is a heavy duty rolling jack designed to lift and support 6,000 LB. The commercial grade RJ-6000 rolling jack can be used to raise the front or rear portion of a vehicle; allowing the operator of a four post above ground lift to perform wheel and brake service. Most commercial shops buy two of these hydraulic rolling jacks, so that the entire vehicle can be supported in the air at the same time.
The Atlas RJ-6000 has telescoping arms that can be extended over the runways of the four post lift. The lift pads at the end of these arms can be positioned under the LIFTING POINTS that are located over the runways of the four post lift. The Atlas RJ-6000 rolling bridge is equipped with expandable supports which adjust to fit many different brands of four post above ground lifts. These supports have a unique roller system that allows the rolling hydraulic jack to glide easily under the entire length of the vehicle. The large heavy steel wheels allow the rolling jack to be positioned under the correct lifting points in a matter of seconds.
The Atlas Atlas RJ-6000 comes standard with a set of peg style truck adapters which increases the lifting height of the lift pads. These truck adapters will allow the Atlas RJ-6000 rolling hydraulic jack to raise most pick up and larger trucks that will sit higher than the average passenger car.
The Atlas RJ-6000 is equipped with an Atlas Air/Hydraulic Pump. The air/hydraulic pump requires a supply of compressed air (air compressor) to work properly.
The Atlas RJ-6000 rolling hydraulic jack features two solid locking positions that are used when the vehicle is to be suspended above the runways. When the locking positions of the Atlas RJ-6000 are engaged, the hydraulic pressure from the lifting cylinder of the jack is eliminated. (These locks act much like a pair of jack stands after you lift a vehicle off the ground with a service jack). Atlas Edge 201:

8 Beam Infrared CCD Image Recognition And Measurement Technology: The high precision 8 beam infrared CCD image recognition and measurement technology self-adapts to ambient light, and creates a 360° measurement field around the vehicle. Eight (8) cameras mean that the entire vehicle is being measured. Additional sensor cables are provided that could be used to connect the sensors in the unlikely event of a ZigBee ® communication interruption.
ZigBee ® Wireless Communication Technology: New generation ZigBee ® wireless communication technology replaces the outdated Bluetooth ® technology, with stronger networking capacity, greater reliability, lower energy-consumption and faster data transmission over longer distances.
Customer Vehicle Alignment Database: Customer vehicle alignment database allows the operator to note and review alignment history, and optimize alignment steps and key points. Vehicle database updates are provided by the internationally authoritative Auto Data ® CO. which include over 20,000 car models worldwide. This vehicle data alignment base may be updated on an annual basis for $200. The data can be uploaded over the Internet, so there is no need to pay for a service call.
Jack-Hold Program: Data freezing (jack-hold) program allows the operator to record the vehicle's current measurements and factory recommended specifications into the computer (while the vehicles tires are on the runways), then raise the vehicle (with the rolling jacks) off the runways to make the necessary adjustments or replace the parts. When the vehicle is lowered back onto the runway, the "new" measurements are compared (immediately) to the factory specifications. This allows the operator to make the necessary adjustments while the vehicle is still in the "alignment mode" and not create measurement variances.
Languages: Currently there are 14 languages included in the software. English, Spanish, German, Polish, Turkish, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Czechoslovakian, Korean, Croatian, Greek, Portuguese, and Serbian. More languages will be added (no cost) in 2012.
Self-Diagnosis and Calibration: Self-diagnosis function is included with this alignment system. Sensors can perform self diagnostic procedure (in the field). Operator is able to check sensors and restore factory settings easily. The sensors can be calibrated by the operator (in the field) by using the factory calibration bar. (Optional)
Front Wheel Quick Measurement And Adjustment (Toe & Go): Front wheel quick measurement and adjustment (Toe & Go) provides quick 2 wheel alignment data without the need of the rear sensors.
4-point wheel clamp compensation: Vehicle (wheel) needs to be rolled back only 90° to perform wheel clamp lateral run-out compensation. Vehicle may also be raised off runways and tire rotated 180° to 360°.
Remote Technical Support: Use your Internet access to either update your software or diagnose software issues with your Edge alignment equipment. Greg Smith Equipment recommends that our customers install TeamViewer ® (free) on their alignment computer system. Our IT department can access your computer and resolve most issues during your "non-business" hours. We "take control" of the customer's alignment system and can install new software or update any previously installed software.
The "remote" technician can also diagnose and correct just about any issue without the need for "hands on" (expensive and time sensitive) service call.
Most customers have high-speed hard wired Internet or wireless Internet at either their business or home. In some instances, the alignment sensors will need to be attached to the alignment system during a "remote" software update or diagnostic session. This situation would require that the TeamViewer ® be accessed (through the Internet) at the business location. However, several software updates may require only the CPU to be accessed. The customer (if he does not have Internet at the shop) may remove his CPU from the alignment machine and take it to a location that has high speed Internet service.
Calibration and Compensation for use on an non-level surface: Alignments may be performed on almost any just about any four post lift or even on a fairly level floor.
Lift height variations are entered into the sensor heads and the software will compensate for the difference between the heights. This feature allows the operator to take alignment measurements from longer wheel base vehicles that may not fit on the alignment rack.
