COSENG tire changers and wheel balancers are built to the same exacting standards as those wheel service machines sold by COATS, SNAP-ON, HUNTER, ACCU TURN, HOFMANN and CORGHI. These “Big Name Manufacturers” have EXCLUSIVE manufacturing agreements with different ITALIAN manufacturers. ITALIAN manufacturers are the main source for most of the major component parts and completed machines for the “Big Name Manufacturers”. Many tire changers and wheel balancer are either private branded for the “Big Name Manufacturers”; or the component parts are imported to North America for final assembly.
Some of the “Big Name Manufacturers” are now importing tire changers and wheel balancers (either entire machines or component parts) from China. That is exactly what Greg Smith Equipment has been doing for many years with one HUGE exception; we pass the savings to the customers.
COSENG is a true manufacturing facility located in China. Most other ASIAN tire changer and wheel balancer companies are not in the manufacturing business. These ASIAN “factories” are really just small assembly companies that purchase parts from dozens of small “job shops” and assemble these tire changer and wheel balancer parts to produce the finished product.
COSENG is an ISO 9001 compliant factory with CE certification and COSENG is a true vertical manufacturer of both tire changers and wheel balancers.
The majority of the component parts in Coseng tire changers and wheel balancers are produced in the Coseng factory. There is no other manufacturer of wheel service equipment in China that can make this claim.
There are dozens of ASIAN tire changer and wheel balancer assembly companies that market their product under several different brand names. These ASIAN assembly facilities sell their products to a variety of small distributors all over the world. Although the tire changers and wheel balancers appear to be similar in design to those sold by “BIG NAME MANUFACTURERS” and Greg Smith Equipment; there are major differences in the quality of these products.
