The Atlas Pro OF14K open front alignment lift has no cross beam in the front of the lift. The front crossbeam has been known to produce a few headaches for alignment technicians that were not paying attention as they walked to their tool boxes.

The Atlas Pro OF14K open front alignment lift has 2 wheel alignment wheel base capabilities of 218 inches. The Atlas Pro OF14K has built in slip plates and recessed areas in the runways to allow for turntables.

Hydraulic Cable Method vs. The Chain Lifting Method:
Certain competitors offer a four post lift with the "old-style" chain lifting method. The chain lifting method has many disadvantages when compared to the hydraulic cable method found on the Atlas Pro OF14K four post open front alignment lift.

The exposed hydraulic cylinder found on the chain style four post lifts is located between one of the front columns and the rear column. Certain competitors show a truck lifted on their "old style" chain lift. The truck is positioned so that the customer cannot see the hydraulic cylinder located between the columns. This hydraulic cylinder is responsible for many "door dings". The cylinder (whether located on the driver's side or the passenger's side) makes opening the vehicle doors very difficult.

Air Operated Double Lock:
The AIR OPERATED DOUBLE LOCK designed for the Atlas Pro OF14K open front alignment lift offers many more safety features than the locking system on other four post lifts.

Wide Fixed Runways:
The Atlas Pro OF14K has very wide FIXED runways that will accommodate everything from a FORD F550 to a TRIUMPH TR 6. These FIXED runways offer a solid lifting platform for the RJ-6000 rolling jacks that roll down the center of the lift. When the rolling jack is used to lift a vehicle "off" of the four post lift's runways, there is an extreme downward force applied to the inside of both runways. The "old-style" chain 4-post lifts normally have one runway that is "moveable". This "moveable" runway (when pressured with the downward force of a rolling jack) may easily "kick out" and allow the jack to become separated from the inside of the runway. If you own an old style chain four post lift, we would recommend that you "bolt down" the "moveable" runway to avoid an accident. The old style chain lifts have "moveable" runways because the width of their runways is narrower than the runways on an Atlas Pro OF14K open front four post alignment lift.

"Lock Ladder" Column Design System:
The Atlas Pro OF14K has the same "lock ladder" column design system as the Pro Park 8S, Pro Park 8 Plus, and Pro Park 9 Plus. The columns on our 8,000 LB., 9,000 LB., and 14,000 LB. four post lifts incorporate the "lock ladder" system which allows the customer to level the lift runways (both front to back and side to side), on floors that are not quite level. The "lock ladder" column system is the same column system found on professional grade lifts found in car dealerships and automotive service centers.

Double Lock System:
The Atlas Pro OF14K incorporates the unique DOUBLE LOCK SYSTEM safety system into each of its four oversized columns. The DOUBLE LOCK SYSTEM safety system is designed to ensure that if a lifting cable becomes slack (for any reason), the secondary locking mechanism automatically engages. This DOUBLE LOCK safety system is found only on other four post above ground lifts costing hundreds of dollars more than the Atlas Pro OF14K.

Installation:
The Atlas Pro OF14K open front alignment above ground lift should be installed on a concrete floor. This concrete floor should have a minimum of four (4) inches of concrete with 3000 PSI strength.

Most of our above ground lift customers install their own car lifts. The average time to install the Atlas Pro OF14K open front alignment lift is six hours.

We provide detailed installation instructions with all our two post above ground lifts and our four post above ground lifts.

Atlas RJ-6000:

The Atlas RJ-6000 is a heavy duty rolling jack designed to lift and support 6,000 LB. The commercial grade RJ-6000 rolling jack can be used to raise the front or rear portion of a vehicle; allowing the operator of a four post above ground lift to perform wheel and brake service. Most commercial shops buy two of these hydraulic rolling jacks, so that the entire vehicle can be supported in the air at the same time.

The Atlas RJ-6000 has telescoping arms that can be extended over the runways of the four post lift. The lift pads at the end of these arms can be positioned under the LIFTING POINTS that are located over the runways of the four post lift. The Atlas RJ-6000 rolling bridge is equipped with expandable supports which adjust to fit many different brands of four post above ground lifts. These supports have a unique roller system that allows the rolling hydraulic jack to glide easily under the entire length of the vehicle. The large heavy steel wheels allow the rolling jack to be positioned under the correct lifting points in a matter of seconds.

The Atlas Atlas RJ-6000 comes standard with a set of peg style truck adapters which increases the lifting height of the lift pads. These truck adapters will allow the Atlas RJ-6000 rolling hydraulic jack to raise most pick up and larger trucks that will sit higher than the average passenger car.

The Atlas RJ-6000 can be equipped with an optional Atlas Deluxe Air/Hydraulic Pump. The air/hydraulic pump would require a supply of compressed air (air compressor) to work properly.

The Atlas RJ-6000 rolling hydraulic jack features two solid locking positions that are used when the vehicle is to be suspended above the runways. When the locking positions of the Atlas RJ-6000 are engaged, the hydraulic pressure from the lifting cylinder of the jack is eliminated. (These locks act much like a pair of jack stands after you lift a vehicle off the ground with a service jack).

Two Vehicle Database Updates Per Year:
After the vehicle is positioned on the lift (this machine is so versatile that an accurate alignment can be performed on the floor), the operator would select the model and year and vehicle from the huge database. (operator may enter their own data). The customer receives two updates per calendar year, so the database is always current.

Standard Self-Centering 4 Point Clamps:
Includes a set of self-centering 4 point clamps, with removable claws. These clamps will clamp wheels 10"-24" and require runout compensation.

Patented FastClamp System (Optional):
An accurate alignment begins with the wheel clamps mounted correctly to the wheel. If the wheel clamps are not mounted properly, then the accuracy of the sensors is compromised. Precision accuracy is the result of the proper relationship between the reference point, the measuring sensors, and the software data. The patented FastClamp system assures the operator of the most accurate reference possible.

The Fast-Clamp fastens to the wheel by "gripping the tire". There is no need for any type of "roll-back" procedure and zero runout is attained (IMMEDIATELY). Lipless wheels and dual wheel trucks are absolutely "no-problem". The Fast-Clamp system is perfect for rims that are 13" to 24" in size. You get two sets of "tire grabbers" to secure to a wide variety of tire sizes and you receive all the pins needed for special lipped wheels.

The reason the fast clamp is a non runout is that it is so precision made that it induces no artificial runout into the circle. The standard 4-point on most aligner systems when tightened down flexes and creates a large amount of artificial runout that must be compensated for.

NOTE: If you upgrade to the Patented FastClamp System, you will not receive both the Standard 4-Point Clamps and the FastClamp system. You will only receive the receive the Patented FastClamp System.

Hybrid Front Wired/Rear Wireless Sensors:
The front two sensors are connected to the front console with cables. The rear sensors communicate with the front sensors via Infra-red transmission. The operator can begin the alignment program from any sensor head. The control panel on each sensor head eliminates the need to walk to and from the console. The CCD measuring system is absolutely super accurate and the front and rear camber and toe (with thrust) are measured automatically.

The Caster and SAI turning routine requires less than 10 seconds and the complete diagnosis is displayed for both axles on all the sensors and console.

All sensors tell the operator if the angle is within specifications, making the additional cost of a rear remote unnecessary.

The alignment program is so simple that the operator needs only to push four (color-coded) arrow buttons located on each sensor to navigate the entire program. The same four color coded arrow button keys are also located on the console.

These sensors are so durable that breakdowns and down time are not an issue.

Fast And Easy Alignment:
The Atlas Edge 401 is absolutely the fastest and easiest alignment machine to operate. The FastClamp system means that the operator does not need to perform a "roll back" on the vehicle.

Most other alignment machines require a time consuming "roll-back" operation which delays the operator from obtaining the car's measurements as quickly as possible. The Atlas Edge 401 alignment system allows the operator to install the sensors and acquire both axle measurements (including Caster and SAI) in less than 3 minutes.

We do not believe that Hunter ®, Accu-Turn ®, Ranger ®, Bosch ®, Snap-On ® or John Bean ® alignment equipment will allow the operator to record (accurately) these important measurements in such a short period of time.

The CCD camera technology is recognized as the Industry standard and the sophisticated software provides the operator with simple, logical procedures resulting in the fastest format to align a vehicle.

The software help screen has hundreds of animations, images, and detailed drawings that depict the method of adjustment for each vehicle and other important information. There is also a "spoiler" program for those vehicles with low air dams.

Ease of Use:
Many service shops have been hesitant to add alignment service to their list of "services performed". Atlas alignment equipment is the perfect answer for those service centers that have not added an alignment machine to their list of shop equipment.

Many of the BIG BRAND names would have you believe that you must be a graduate from an engineering college to operate an alignment machine. The Atlas Edge 401 is easier to use than downloading songs to your iPod ®. The beauty of the Atlas system is that it is cleanly divided into only 5 major components - 4 sensor heads and one PC. We diagnose your problem by phone or internet access. If one of the components is at fault we will send you a loaner component via FedEx. You simply place your component in the same packaging and FedEx automatically returns two days later to retrieve it and return it to us.

This is a faster, more efficient, and less costly method of offering service to our customers. It reduces customer's downtime which means more income. It is a more modern and innovative way of providing service and support.

Software Updates:
Software updates to the Atlas 401 and Atlas 601 machines are FREE. All you need is an internet connection. If you do not have an internet connection, we can also send you a USB Flash Drive which can be used to download updates.

Vehicle Target Data:
The vehicle data base is compiled by the U.S. Company MOTOR. Motor has one major release each year which means an upgrade is available for purchase for a nominal charge (Between $350 and $495) each July. In other words, most 2011 vehicle data will be included in the July 2011 upgrade. The target data starts with vehicles in the early to mid 1960's and continues thru 2011.
