The Atlas 6600 (6,600 lb. capacity) MRLX mid-rise scissor lift is the perfect lift for those customers who have minimal garage height and still want a fully operational lift for both vehicle wheel service and undercar service. The Atlas 6600 MRLX mid-rise scissor lift combines features of our popular Atlas 6 MR midrise lift and popular those features found on our two post and four post above ground lifts. The open space between the scissor lift pads allows the operator easy access to many “under body” parts of the vehicle. This “open” area between the lift pads is wide enough for a creeper or low seat to maneuver. The lift pads function much like the runways found on a four post lift. These lift pads (equipped with the raised rubber blocks) require “no positioning of the arms”. The rubber blocks are simply placed on top of the runways to support the correct lifting points of the vehicle. This lifting configuration allows the wheels to “hang free” (as on a two post lift) for easy wheel service. The Atlas 6600 MRLX mid-rise scissor lift operates from a flush floor position, so that when not in use, a vehicle may drive over or be parked over the lift. The lift is not portable. The lift must be anchored to a concrete floor with a minimum thickness of four inches. The Atlas 6600 MRLX mid-rise scissor lifts controls are located in separate console. The power unit consists of a 220 volt single phase motor and a hydraulic pump system. This hydraulic power system is equipped with a valve equalization system which synchronizes the dual hydraulic cylinders. The air control safety locks are controlled from the console. When the vehicle is raised to the desired height, the operator engages the positive air lock mechanism. This procedure ensures the locking “teeth” on the solid bar lock system are engaged.
