  • Atlas Garage Pro 9,000:

    Description:
    LONGER IS BETTER!
This Atlas Garage Pro 9000 4 post lift can accommodate a 187" vehicle. The Atlas Garage Pro 9000 has the longest runways (we believe) of any portable 9,000 LB. four post on the market. The Atlas Garage Pro 9000 weighs about 300 LB. more than our Atlas Garage Pro 8000. The Atlas Garage Pro 9000 four post above ground lift incorporates many features that are not found in any of our competitors' four post lifts that are sold in the USA. This lift is a portable four post lift incorporating polyurethane casters on the caster kit to prevent damage to the garage floor.

The Garage Pro 9000 can lift your pick-up truck or car up to 85 inches in the air. This above ground lift is the perfect choice for parking taller vehicles under your stored vehicle. The commercial grade features of the Garage Pro 9000 make this lift the perfect choice for automotive service center or Mr. Homeowner that needs a PORTABLE professional four post lift at a competitive price.

The Garage Pro 9000 four post lift comes standard with a powerful 110 volt power unit.

How Do I Get My Stuff Off The Truck?:
Many customers do not have access to loading docks and forklifts. We have assembled some photos of our products being unloaded with and without the aid of a forklift. Many of our freight carriers have power tailgates on their delivery trucks. There may be an extra charge for the power tailgate, depending on the carrier. The power tailgate is normally rated at 1000 LB. capacity. This is not enough capacity to unload most of our lifts. However, when used properly (and safely), the power tailgate (in conjunction with some common sense) allows the customer to off load many of our products without the use of a forklift.
Watch our video on how to use a power tailgate to help you unload your product from a truck.

Most truck shipments will be delivered by a commercial freight carrier operating a tractor/trailer rig. The semi trailer will be enclosed. Most commercial carriers have smaller straight trucks and some have small flatbed trucks, but the majority of freight companies will not use these smaller trucks for your delivery. Greg Smith Equipment cannot guarantee the type of truck that will be used for delivery. You should assume that your product will be delivered on a tractor/trailer rig that uses a 53 foot enclosed trailer. This is a VERY LONG rig. It is the truck driver's responsibility to make sure that your product is brought to the back of the delivery truck. It is the customer's responsibility to unload the product from the truck.
Watch our video on how to unload your two post or four post lift from a semi truck.

    "Lock Ladder" Column Design:
The Atlas Garage Pro 9000 Plus has the same "lock ladder" column design system as the Pro Park 8S, Pro Park 8 Plus, and Atlas 14K. The columns on our 8,000 LB. 9,000 LB. and 14,000 LB. four post lifts incorporate the "lock ladder" system which allows the customer to level the lift runways (both front to back and side to side), on floors that are not quite level. The "lock ladder" column system is the same column system found on professional grade lifts found in car dealerships and automotive service centers.

    Double Lock Safety System:
This Atlas Garage Pro 9000 locking system offers a unique two position locking mechanism. The DOUBLE LOCK SAFETY SYSTEM is standard on the Atlas Garage Pro 9000, Direct Lift Pro Park 8S, Direct Lift Pro Park 8 Plus, and the Atlas Pro 14K.

The Atlas Garage Pro 9000 incorporates the unique DOUBLE LOCK SAFETY SYSTEM into each of its four oversized columns. The DOUBLE LOCK SAFETY SYSTEM is designed to ensure that if a lifting cable becomes slack (for any reason), the secondary locking mechanism automatically engages.

    Flow Restrictor:
The Atlas Garage Pro 9000 has flow restrictor valves installed in the hydraulic system. Some lifts do not require a flow restrictor.

    Expandability:
The Atlas Garage Pro 9000 may be equipped with the Alignment Kit, Pro Jack 4500, or the Atlas RJ-6000 rolling bridges.

    Manual Single Point Release:
The Atlas Garage Pro 9000 has a manual single point release that allows the operator to release all the safety locks at one time.

Does Not Need To Be Anchored To The Floor:
The Atlas Garage Pro 9000 DOES NOT need to be anchored to the floor. However, if you are using a four post above ground lift many times each day, the lift may "scoot" a little on a smooth concrete floor. All four post lifts (Including the Direct Lift four post lifts and all other competitor's four post lifts) will move slightly on a smooth concrete floor if there is a constant flow of vehicles on and off the lift. The stability and integrity of the lift will not be compromised by the slight "scooting" of the four post lift. To eliminate the possibility of any "scooting", we recommend you anchor (with just one anchor) two of the column bases to your concrete floor. This anchoring will prevent the lift from "scooting".

If you are using the Atlas Garage Pro 9000 in a commercial application, then the lift needs to be anchored to the concrete for a permanent installation.

    Installation:
Most of our above ground lift customers install their own car lifts. The average time to assemble the Atlas Garage Pro 9000 four post lift is about four hours.

    Parts:
Greg Smith Equipment stocks a complete inventory of lift parts for all the lifts we sell. Lift parts and technical support personnel are available.

Certain competitors do not stock the lifts they advertise and do not stock any of the lift parts or accessories. Lifting a car is serious business.

    Atlas RJ-6000 Rolling Jacks:

The Atlas RJ-6000 is a heavy duty rolling jack designed to lift and support 6,000 LB. The commercial grade RJ-6000 rolling jack can be used to raise the front or rear portion of a vehicle; allowing the operator of a four post above ground lift to perform wheel and brake service. Most commercial shops buy two of these hydraulic rolling jacks, so that the entire vehicle can be supported in the air at the same time.

The Atlas RJ-6000 has telescoping arms that can be extended over the runways of the four post lift. The lift pads at the end of these arms can be positioned under the LIFTING POINTS that are located over the runways of the four post lift. The Atlas RJ-6000 rolling bridge is equipped with expandable supports which adjust to fit many different brands of four post above ground lifts. These supports have a unique roller system that allows the rolling hydraulic jack to glide easily under the entire length of the vehicle. The large heavy steel wheels allow the rolling jack to be positioned under the correct lifting points in a matter of seconds.

The Atlas Atlas RJ-6000 comes standard with a set of peg style truck adapters which increases the lifting height of the lift pads. These truck adapters will allow the Atlas RJ-6000 rolling hydraulic jack to raise most pick up and larger trucks that will sit higher than the average passenger car.

The Atlas RJ-6000 can be equipped with an optional Atlas Air/Hydraulic Pump. The air/hydraulic pump would require a supply of compressed air (air compressor) to work properly.

The Atlas RJ-6000 rolling hydraulic jack features two solid locking positions that are used when the vehicle is to be suspended above the runways. When the locking positions of the Atlas RJ-6000 are engaged, the hydraulic pressure from the lifting cylinder of the jack is eliminated. (These locks act much like a pair of jack stands after you lift a vehicle off the ground with a service jack).
