The Atlas OH-10X is a TRUE 10,000 lb. capacity two post lift that offers a great value to the customer. The Atlas OH-10X was engineered and manufactured to lift vehicles ranging from Smart Cars ® to a one ton diesel dually. Extra lifting height and extra width between the columns allows the operator to work on all sizes of vehicles and offers a "fudge factor" of about 6 inches when "driving through" to another part of the building or lifting the van or "ladder truck". If you are over 6'2", the Atlas OH-10X has longer cylinders which allow the vehicle to be "lifted" about 3 inches higher than many other lifts.

The Atlas OH-10X has single piece columns and extra long carriages to ensure years of trouble free service. The single piece columns require the customer to have a ceiling of at least 13 feet to stand the column.

How Do I Get My Stuff Off The Truck?:
Many customers do not have access to loading docks and forklifts. We have assembled some photos of our products being unloaded with and without the aid of a forklift. Many of our freight carriers have power tailgates on their delivery trucks. There may be an extra charge for the power tailgate, depending on the carrier. The power tailgate is normally rated at 1000 LB. capacity. This is not enough capacity to unload most of our lifts. However, when used properly (and safely), the power tailgate (in conjunction with some common sense) allows the customer to off load many of our products without the use of a forklift.

Most truck shipments will be delivered by a commercial freight carrier operating a tractor/trailer rig. The semi trailer will be enclosed. Most commercial carriers have smaller straight trucks and some have small flatbed trucks, but the majority of freight companies will not use these smaller trucks for your delivery. Greg Smith Equipment cannot guarantee the type of truck that will be used for delivery. You should assume that your product will be delivered on a tractor/trailer rig that uses a 53 foot enclosed trailer. This is a VERY LONG rig. It is the truck driver's responsibility to make sure that your product is brought to the back of the delivery truck. It is the customer's responsibility to unload the product from the truck.

Direct Drive Cylinders:
Extra long direct drive cylinders in each column allows the Atlas OH-10X to lift vehicles several inches HIGHER than many other lifts on the market. If you are over 77" tall, then this extra lifting height makes it much easier for you to walk under the vehicle.

Includes Three Piece Truck Adapter Set:
The included truck adapters add even more lifting height to the Atlas OH-10X. The Atlas OH-10X comes with a three piece truck adapter which offers many more lift height combinations than standard two piece truck adapter sets.

Single Point Lock Release:
The Atlas OH-10X has single point release which makes it easy for the operator to unlock both column locks from one column.

Overhead Bar Configuration:
The overhead bar configuration of the Atlas OH-10X leaves the area between the columns open, and allows the operator to easily roll a transmission jack or a tool box under the car.

Symmetric Columns:
The symmetric column design provides a very wide drive through area to accommodate dual wheel pickups.

Single Piece Columns And Extra Long Carriages:
The Atlas OH-10X incorporates a single piece 12' 7" formed column and an extra long carriage that provides maximum column and arm strength to lift and support a 10,000 lb. vehicle.

Rubber Covers:
Rubber covers on the carriages help to prevent door damage.

Padded Automatic Shut-Off Bar:
The padded shut-off bar located below the cross beam prevents the top of the vehicle from being damaged by hitting the cross beam. The padded bar, when contacted, automatically shuts off the motor on the power unit to prevent the vehicle from being lifted.

Packaging:
The Atlas OH-10X cannot be hauled in the back of a pickup truck. The single piece columns are almost 13 feet long. Please bring a trailer or a long bed roll back truck when you pick up the Atlas OH-10X from one of the Greg Smith Equipment locations or from a shipping terminal.

Electrical Requirement:
The electric motor for the power unit requires 220 Volt (single phase) 60 Hz. We recommend using at least a 10 gauge (grounded) wire from the electrical panel. The power unit has a short pigtail (no plug) that can be wired to either a quick disconnect box (mounted on the lift column) or to a male/female plug combination. A 30 amp breaker is recommended.

Installation:
Most of our above ground lift customers install their own car lifts. The average time to install the Atlas OH-10X car lift is four hours.
