  • The Atlas OH9000H is the taller version of the Atlas OH9000 two post above ground lift. The over head beam (that connects the two columns) is positioned two feet higher than the over head beam on the Atlas OH9000. The taller position of the over head beam allows the Atlas OH9000H above ground hoist to lift "taller vehicles". The Atlas OH9000 and Atlas OH9000H are capable of lifting a vehicle a full 81 3/4". However, some cube vans, "ladder trucks" and other vehicles that are exceptionally tall, cannot be raised to the full lifting height on the Atlas OH9000 two post above ground hoist.

The Atlas OH-9000H is a commercial grade two post lift is the perfect choice for those commercial garages or Mr. Homeowner who demands the highest quality at the absolute best price. The Atlas OH 9000H is a TRUE 9,000 lb. capacity two post lift that offers a great value to the customer.

Where Do I Position My Two Post Lift In My Garage?
There are many factors that will determine the best place to mount your two post lift. This and other frequently asked lift positioning related questions are answered here.

How Do I Get My Stuff Off The Truck?:
Many customers do not have access to loading docks and forklifts. We have assembled some photos of our products being unloaded with and without the aid of a forklift. Many of our freight carriers have power tailgates on their delivery trucks. There may be an extra charge for the power tailgate, depending on the carrier. The power tailgate is normally rated at 1000 LB. capacity. This is not enough capacity to unload most of our lifts. However, when used properly (and safely), the power tailgate (in conjunction with some common sense) allows the customer to off load many of our products without the use of a forklift.
Watch our video on how to use a power tailgate to help you unload your product from a truck.

Most truck shipments will be delivered by a commercial freight carrier operating a tractor/trailer rig. The semi trailer will be enclosed. Most commercial carriers have smaller straight trucks and some have small flatbed trucks, but the majority of freight companies will not use these smaller trucks for your delivery. Greg Smith Equipment cannot guarantee the type of truck that will be used for delivery. You should assume that your product will be delivered on a tractor/trailer rig that uses a 53 foot enclosed trailer. This is a VERY LONG rig. It is the truck driver's responsibility to make sure that your product is brought to the back of the delivery truck. It is the customer's responsibility to unload the product from the truck.
Watch our video on how to unload your two post or four post lift from a semi truck.

    Super-Symmetric Arm Configuration:
Our super symmetric arm configuration is a great improvement over the traditional asymmetric or symmetric arm configuration.

Our most asked question about our arm configuration is:
"Can I get in and out of the vehicle easily"? The Atlas OH 9000H super symmetric arm configuration allows the customer to get in and out of the vehicle with ease.

The real question should be; "Can I position the arms properly (arm pads under the correct lift points) and still get in and out of the vehicle easily"? The Atlas OH 9000H answers "YES" to this question.

    Direct Drive Cylinders:
Low pressure direct drive cylinders in each column attach to a unique carriage design. Direct drive cylinders are more efficient and last longer than the chain over half cylinders found in many low priced two post lifts.

Includes Three Piece Truck Adapter Set:
The Atlas OH 9000H comes standard with a three piece truck adapter set. The Atlas OH 9000H (with the entire truck adapter set installed) can lift a vehicle up to 82.5". The three piece truck adapter set offers many more lift height combinations than standard two piece truck adapter sets.

    Single Point Lock Release:
The Atlas OH 9000H two post lift has single point release which makes it easy for the operator to unlock both column locks from one column.

    Overhead Bar Configuration:
The overhead bar configuration of the Atlas OH 9000H leaves the floor area between the columns open, and allows the operator to easily roll a transmission jack or a tool box under the car.

    Padded Automatic Shut-Off Bar:
The padded shut-off bar located below the cross beam prevents the top of the vehicle from being damaged by hitting the cross beam. The padded bar, which contacted automatically shuts of the motor on the power unit to prevent the vehicle from being lifted.

    Symmetric Columns:
The symmetric column design provides a much wider drive through than the asymmetric designed columns.

    Packaging:
The Atlas OH 9000H is packaged in a metal frame that can be hauled in the bed of most standard pickup trucks.

    Parts:
Greg Smith Equipment stocks a complete inventory of lift parts for all the lifts we sell. Lift parts and technical support personnel are available.

Certain competitors do not stock the lifts they advertise and do not stock any of the lift parts or accessories. Lifting a car is serious business.

    Electrical Requirement:
The electric motor for the power unit requires 220 Volt (single phase) 60 Hz. We recommend using at least a 10 gauge (grounded) wire from the electrical panel. The power unit has a short pigtail (no plug) that can be wired to either a quick disconnect box (mounted on the lift column) or to a male/female plug combination. A 30 amp breaker is recommended.

    Installation:
Most of our above ground lift customers install their own car lifts. The average time to install the Atlas OH 9000H car lift is four hours.

We provide detailed installation instructions with all our two post above ground lifts and our four post above ground lifts.
