  • Description:
The Atlas TC755 is our "professional tire dealer" or " large car dealership " tilt back wheel clamp tire changer. The clamping range of the Atlas TC 755 allows the operator to "clamp" most 26 inch chrome rims without purchasing additional adapter sets. The optional Atlas Motorcycle/ATV Flip Adapters extend the outer clamping jaw measurement to over 32 inches.

The turntable jaws (which can be covered with the standard protective plastic inserts) hold the rim securely without damaging the surface of the rim.

The Atlas TC 755 comes standard with an inflator hose and gauge and powerful built-in Bead Blaster to seat the beads on the most stubborn tires.

Why Buy A Tilt Back Tire Changer?:
The " tilt back " feature of the Atlas 755 wheel clamp tire changer allows the turntable of the tire changer to be fully " exposed " , and will handle tire diameters of over 47 inches. If you are presently changing expensive chrome wheels; the " exposed " turntable allows the operator a larger work area and helps to prevent damage to the rim when setting the rim on the turntable.

Tilt back tire changers offer several advantages over the swing arm wheel clamp tire changers. If you are a high volume shop, the tilt back feature reduces operator fatigue because the head assembly is automatically (operator only needs to press a foot pedal) moved away when the wheel assembly is ready to be removed from the turntable. When the next wheel is placed on the turntable, the operator presses the foot pedal, and the arm swings back in to the correct position automatically.

The Atlas 755 tilt back wheel clamp tire changer is the perfect choice fo rall professional service shops that specialize in changing low-profile high performance stiff sidewall tires. The position of the mount/demount head (12 o'clock) allows the operator to stand in front of the machine with easy access to all pedals and to both assist arms (if the Atlas 755 is equipped with the DAA).

The left hand and right hand assist arms are in the perfect position to assist in the mounting and demounting of run flat tires.

    Bead Blaster:
The revolutionary new Bead Blaster design on our Atlas tire changers provides an enormous amount of air pressure and volume (blasting air through the air holes positioned near the movable turntable jaws) to seat the beads on most stiff sidewall tires. This tremendous volume of air, directed to the inside cavity of the tire, forces both tire sidewalls to press solidly against the wheel so that the tire will " hold air " .

The large external air tank reservoir holds up to 75% more compressed air than most competitive tire changers. The external tank is connected to the unique valve system which utilizes an oversized hose system to deliver a huge amount of air pressure and volume in a short amount of time.

Please remember to never use more than 50 PSI when inflating the tire to seat the bead. NEVER exceed the maximum inflation pressure recommended by the tire manufacture.

    Optional Adapters:
The Atlas TC 755 wheel clamp tire changer can be equipped with the Atlas Motorcycle/ATV Flip Adapters .

NOTE: The use of the Atlas Motorcycle/ATV Flip Adapters prevents the use of the air bead blast feature on this tire changer. The adapters are slid over the standard wheel clamp jaws on the tire changer table and will block the holes through which the bead blast shoots the jets of air. This means that you will not be able to use the Bead Blaster to help you reseat the bead of a tire when you are using the adapter set.

Atlas vs. Other Big Name Brands:
Greg Smith has sold automotive wheel service equipment for over 40 years. His company has distributed and installed hundreds of wheel service machines manufactured by HUNTER ®, CORGHI ®, HOFMANN ®, ACCU-TURN ®, RANGER ®, SNAP-ON ® and BISHMAN ®.

Greg Smith Equipment believes that the wheel service products made by Atlas are designed and manufactured to the same exacting standards as the "BIG NAME BRANDS"

The salesmen for the "BIG NAME BRANDS" try to intimidate many prospective wheel service equipment customers into believing that products from ASIA are inferior. Most of the "BIG BRAND NAMES" have the majority of their parts made in ASIA.

Get the facts about Atlas wheel service products before you spend two to three times more than you need to on "BIG NAME BRANDS"!

    IE:
Electrical voltage requirements are different in the USA compared to other countries. There may also be certain accessory items that need to be included for Europe, but are not needed in the USA.
