Direct Lift Pro Park 8S:Tested To USA Industry Standards:Greg Smith Equipment is proud to announce the arrival of the new Direct Lift PP-8S (Standard) four post hobbyist lift. The new Direct Lift PP-8S now carries an Industry tested lifting capacity of 8,000 lbs. This new rating of 8,000 lbs. is a direct result of three months of extensive testing.
Most of our competitors do not TEST their lifts to USA Industry standards. Many of our competitors just publish what they believe is "an approximate weight lifting capacity" based upon what other lift distributors are advertising. Many times the Chinese manufacturers overrate their lifts to gain market share in other countries. The Chinese testing standards and the USA testing standards are NOT the same!
We still get a big chuckle when we see one of our competitors advertising a 10,000 lb. four post hobbyist lift for $1995; and it IS SMALLER than our 8,000 LB. PP-8 S (Standard). Lifting a car or truck is serious business. Call the Lift Professionals at Greg Smith Equipment.
Lock Ladder Column Design:The new Direct Lift Pro Park 8S has the same "lock ladder" column design system as the
Pro Park 8 Plus,
Pro Park 9 Plus, and
Atlas 14K. We believe that the lock ladder system is the safest locking system for any four post lift. The lock ladder system also provides an infinite number of runway locking positions. The "old-style" welded locks could not be adjusted. The lock ladder is adjustable inside the column so that our customers can "micro-manage" the correct runway height to accommodate any vehicle. The "lock ladder" column system is the same column system found on professional grade lifts found in car dealerships and automotive service centers.
Double Lock Safety System: This Pro Park 8S locking system offers a unique two position locking mechanism found only in commercial grade cable style four post lifts. The
DOUBLE LOCK SAFETY SYSTEM is found exclusively on the Direct Lift Pro Park 8S,
Pro Park 8 Plus,
Pro Park 9 Plus, and the
Atlas 14K.The Direct Lift Pro Park 8S incorporates the unique
DOUBLE LOCK SAFETY SYSTEM into each of its four oversized columns. The
DOUBLE LOCK SAFETY SYSTEM is designed to ensure that if a lifting cable becomes slack (for any reason), the secondary locking mechanism automatically engages. This
DOUBLE LOCK SAFETY SYSTEM is found only on other four post above ground lifts costing hundreds of dollars more than the Direct Lift Pro Park 8S.
Flow Restrictor:Greg Smith Equipment is proud to announce that many of our two post and four post lifts manufactured in our off shore factory (after 08-01-07) have flow restrictor valves installed in the hydraulic system. Some lifts do not require a flow restrictor.
Manual Single Point Release:The Pro Park 8S has
manual single point release that allows the operator to release all the safety locks at one time.
Does Not Need To Be Anchored To The Floor:The Pro Park 8S DOES NOT need to be anchored to the floor. However, if you are using a four post above ground lift many times each day, the lift may "scoot" a little on a smooth concrete floor. All four post lifts (Including the Direct Lift four post lifts and all other competitor's four post lifts) will move slightly on a smooth concrete floor if there is a constant flow of vehicles on and off the lift. The stability and integrity of the lift will not be compromised by the slight "scooting" of the four post lift. To eliminate the possibility of any "scooting", we recommend you anchor (with just one anchor) two of the column bases to your concrete floor. This anchoring will prevent the lift from "scooting".
Safety Labels: In a concerted effort to improve customer awareness as to the correct operation of our two post and four post above ground lifts, the factory is affixing the ANSI (ALI/101S) safety labels to our Atlas and Direct above ground vehicle lifts (after 08-01-07). These ANSI (ALI/101S) safety labels help to alert the operator as to certain potential dangers that may exist in the normal operation of the lift.
Installation:Most of our above ground lift customers install their own car lifts. The average time to assemble the Direct Lift Pro Park 8S car lift is four hours.
We provide detailed installation instructions with all our two post above ground lifts and our four post above ground lifts.
View The Pro Park 8S Assembly Guide.Parts:Greg Smith Equipment stocks a complete inventory of lift parts for all the lifts we sell. Lift parts and technical support personnel are available.
Certain competitors do not stock the lifts they advertise and do not stock any of the lift parts or accessories. Lifting a car is serious business.

Direct Lift Pro Jack 3500: The Direct Lift Pro Jack 3500 (3500 LB. capacity) sliding hydraulic vehicle jack is the perfect choice for the owner of the
Direct Lift ProPark 8S. The Direct Lift Pro Jack 3500 will also fit the
Direct Lift ProPark 8 Plus or the
Direct Lift ProPark 9 Plus. The Direct Lift Pro Jack 3500 is for those who want to perform wheel service on a vehicle that is positioned on top of their four post lift.
Advantages Over Using A Jack Tray:The complete Direct Lift ProPark 8S four post lift comes with a jack tray. The jack tray has certain limitations that are eliminated by using the Direct Lift Pro Jack 3500. The jack tray (with a small floor jack or jack stands) will support ONLY THOSE LIFTING POINTS of the raised vehicle that are between the runways of the Direct Lift ProPark 8S four post lift. The Direct Lift Pro Jack 3500 has telescoping arms that can be extended over the runways of the four post lift. The lift pads at the end of these arms can be positioned under the LIFTING POINTS (that are located over the runways of the four post lift) of the vehicle allowing the operator to access many more LIFTING POINTS than just using the jack tray.
Truck Adapters Included:The Direct Lift Pro Jack 3500 comes standard with a set of peg style truck adapters which increase the lifting height of the lift pads. These truck adapters will allow the Direct Lift Pro Jack 3500 sliding hydraulic jack to raise pick up trucks that will sit higher on the runways than the average passenger car.
Manual Hydraulic Pump Operated:The Direct Lift Pro Jack 3500 is operated by a manual hydraulic pump (porta-power pump) and does not require an air compressor for power.
Two Solid Locking Positions:The Direct Lift Pro Jack 3500 sliding hydraulic jack also features two solid locking positions that are used when the vehicle is to be suspended above the runways. When the locking positions of the Direct Lift Pro Jack 3500 are engaged, the hydraulic pressure from the lifting cylinder of the Pro Jack 3500 is eliminated. (These locks act much like a pair of jack stands after you lift a vehicle off the ground with a service jack).
Adjustable:Finally, the versatile Pro Jack 3500 sliding jack is adjustable to fit between the runways of many of the other four post lifts that have been sold in the last several years.
"World-Class" Products:Greg Smith Equipment is proud to state that our manufacturers are definitely "world-class". Our Atlas products are sold throughout the world.
