Pro Park 8 Plus Vs. Certain Competitor's 8K XLT Lift

Certain competitors offer an extended version of their 7,000 lb. or 8,000 lb. four post lift.
Greg Smith Equipment has purchased (from a certain competitor) both versions of their 8,000 lb. four post lift. These lifts should be rated at a 7,000 lb. capacity, but certain competitors continue to exaggerate the weight capacities of their lifts.

The standard version of certain competitors' 8,000 four post lift (slightly smaller dimensions than the
Direct Lift Pro Park 8S
) was not used in any of our comparisons. The size and quality of that lift was not worth comparing to any four post lifts manufactured by Direct Lift. The extended XLT version of certain competitors' 8,000 lb. four post lift is compared to our Pro Park 8 Plus in the photos and copy found below.

Certain competitors' 8,000 lb. XLT lift offers none of the exclusive features found on the Pro Park 8 Plus or Pro Park 9 Plus lifts. The manufacturing quality of certain competitors' four post lifts is far below the high quality found in all Direct Lift products.

The taller columns on the 8000 lb. extended XLT four post lift use the same locking system found on the smaller version of their 8,000 lb. four post lift. Greg Smith Equipment recommends the use of our unique lock ladder column system for all columns that exceed 84 inches. The lock ladder system offers several distinct advantages over the dog lock system.

Our Pro Park 8 Plus uses the pulley block cable system to achieve maximum height capabilities while incorporating the shorter runway length necessary to fit into most garages. Direct Lift and Greg Smith Equipment believe that most customers buy an extended height lift for the purpose of parking a taller vehicle on the floor under the stored car parked on the top ramps. Certain competitors, who do not use the pulley block cable system to achieve their lift height, are using a longer cylinder under the runway. The longer cylinder requires a longer runway, and we believe that the longer runway is unnecessary and takes up too much space.

Our Pro Park 8 Plus and certain competitors' 8,000 lb. XLT are NOT designed for everyday use in commercial garages. If you want a commercial grade lift that is portable, then please review the information on our Pro Park 9 Plus.

Our Pro Park 8 Plus comes with a caster kit equipped with polyurethane caster wheels. Certain competitors' 8000 lb. four post lift is equipped with steel caster wheels on their caster kit.

Lifting a car or truck is serious business.
If certain competitors EXAGGERATE the capacity of their lifts to gain your business; can you trust them on other products?
