I bought my atlas 9koh a few months back. The guys at Greg smiths in Indianapolis were great to work with. I assembled it by my self. The Instructions were easy to read. I would recommend a lift like mine to anybody looking to buy a two post lift. Thanks for everything, your friend Charlie.

Hey guys, I had my 9KOH delivered to my home where I unpacked it and installed it in a couple days. It was very easy to assemble. I used a cherry picker to stand the towers up with no trouble. The biggest job is torquing the 10 mount bolts to 110 ft. Lbs. I would recommend this lift to anyone looking for a cheap priced but quality lift. Mine works like a champ. Hello I purchased a 9koh lift from you with excellent service with even better price. Thanks for making the purchase smoothly, I will be back! WG Miller Shelbyville, TN
Here's my Atlas® 9KOH in action. Installation was much simpler than it appeared to be initially. I did have to get a buddy who was an electrician wire the motor as it differed from the instructions. It works great and has really made a huge difference in my home shop. I plan on adding some tall jack stands to help stabilize big trucks on the lift. I am an older mechanic , and at 68 my wife and son decided to buy me a lift. I love it. Now I can work on my mustangs without breaking my back. Thanks, Roy
Great lift, Great price! JR. Dugas Owner "Classics of the Heart" Greenwich, NY
I purchased the Atlas® 9KOH and I couldn't be happier. I picked it up from the Delaware location, and for $1495 I don't think you can't get more lift for your money than the 9KOH. So far I have used it to lift 3/4 ton pickups, lowered foreign sports cars and a wide variety of other pickups and passenger cars with ease. I'm very pleased with the quality, capability and versatility of this lift.
Great product! Wish I would have bought one years ago!
Thanks, Russ Favinger Pottstown, PA
So glad I got the 2 post lift. So happy with the lift for my auto body and paint business. Told my uncle from ID. He has gone to Phx. to get 3 lifts from Greg Smith. We try to send customers your way. Excellent service. Thanks, Rick
After many years of fighting working on my back I decided that the new garage needed a two post lift, or two, or whatever. I shopped and shopped and compared and compared and finally settled on the 9KOH. I had bought a couple of 4 post storage lifts from Greg Smith previously, before you all were even in Texas. With a work meeting scheduled in Austin, I took a trailer and picked up a couple of the 9KOHs while I was there.
I would say the hardest part of the whole thing was unloading them from the trailer!! We broke apart the packages and hoisted each column separately. Those pieces are a little heavy!! Assembly was not too bad, though, even with only two (2) people and some ingenuity. A serious SDS hammer drill from the pawn shop made life much easier on that front, as I was installing 2 lifts, for a total of something like 20 holes. For one lift I might have limped along with my regular ½” hammer drill. I had to move my 220v outlets, which took a little time. Make sure and read the additional insert on wiring the overhead shutoff or you’ll make some sparks. If you get two you’ll be shocked at how much faster the second one goes up! I was surprised at how quickly the thing bled itself, and worked great from the get-go.
I have a Sunbeam Tiger on one lift, and love getting to work at eye level. The other one hasn’t been used for a car yet, but was awesome when it came time to move the parts from the 4 post lift to the shop. I raised the lift arms, backed the trailed under the lift, strapped the LONG runners to the lift arms, raised the arms some more, and drove the trailer out from under it!
A lot of people talk schmack about lower priced lifts, but these things cost HALF of what some others do, and seem to do everything I need to do. The fact that I bought two – for my residential garage – says a lot about the quality and value.

I recently picked up an Atlas 9KOH 2-post lift at the GSE Indianapolis facility. Bought some other shop equipment while I was there as well. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Did the installation myself with help from my son, a couple friends & neighbors, and a rented hammer drill. Install went great, no problems. The lift works great! I had designed my small 24' x 32' shop with 10' ceiling over one bay and a vaulted ceiling for the lift bay. It's a little tight for larger vehicles, but will work just fine for most of what I need to do. My only regret is that I didn't put the lift in 7 years ago when I built the shop! Thank you Greg Smith Equipment for great product and friendly service! Dave Sproul Mahomet, IL
