The 7K Kwik Bay is like nothing you have ever used before

The Kwik Bay was designed to raise a vehicle, hold it in position then, lower it back to the ground; WITHOUT LOWERING THE WEIGHT TO THE LOCKS.

Due to the intended use of this lift, Quick or Expedited Commercial Service Bays, the locks are not used. The Emergency Safety Lock System is there to protect against a vehicle falling in the event of a Hydraulic Failure.

The Kwik Bay does include a button to allow the weight to be lowered on to the locks. We provide this so a customer, other than a commercial service garage, can use this lift at home for extended service tasks.

HOWEVER

It is the customer's responsibility to perform the following checklist, for each use, to guarantee correct operation of the Emergency Safety Locks if the Lock System will be used to actively support a vehicle's weight.

  • Follow the Operation and Installation Manual to assure the lift is installed, commissioned and
    operated according to manufacturer's recommendation.
  • Check that the Blue Safety Locks engage the Silver Safety Lock Bars at the same time and at the same position when the LOCK Button is pressed. Check this with and without a load on the lift.
  • When the DOWN Button is pressed make sure the lift raises the weight up far enough to allow BOTH Blue Safety Locks to disengage from the Silver Safety Lock Bars.
