In Business Since 1982
Our company has been in business since 1982. We are not just an Internet based company. We have physical store locations totaling more than 250,000 square feet of office, warehouse and showroom space. We encourage our customers to visit our facilities and see (and operate) the top quality automotive equipment on display in our showrooms.
In August of 2005, Greg Smith Equipment Sales moved into a new 50,000 square foot facility at 5800 Massachusetts Avenue, on the east side of Indianapolis, Indiana. Our Indianapolis location has an impressive 10,000 square foot equipment showroom with a large variety of two post lifts, four post lifts, motorcycle lifts, tire changers, wheel balancers, alignment machines, etc. on display. Our Indianapolis location has grown to include over 100,000 total square feet of office, showroom and warehouse space and also serves as our main distribution center.
In April, 2006, Greg Smith Equipment opened a facility only a few miles south of I-95 in Newark, Delaware. Our Delaware operation serves as both a distribution and sales facility. We have a showroom at this location which allows our customers the opportunity to see our products on display and save freight costs by picking up their products at our facility. There is no sales tax in Delaware. Come check out our car lifts, tire changers, wheel balancers and wide variety of other shop equipment. Newark, Delaware is located near several major cities including Philadelphia, Baltimore, Washington D.C., and New York City.
In September, 2007, Greg Smith Equipment opened a facility on the northeast side of Atlanta, Georgia, in Norcross to be exact, only a few miles north of I-85. Our Atlanta, Georgia location serves as both a distribution and sales facility, where we have a showroom with many of our products on display. Atlanta, Georgia is located near several major cities including New Orleans, Orlando, Jacksonville, Birmingham, Jackson, Charleston, and Charlotte. In April of 2013, we expanded our Atlanta, Georgia operation and moved into a new 50,000 square foot facility. This doubled the size of our showroom and increased our warehouse space.
In February, 2010, Greg Smith Equipment opened its fourth retail location in Tolleson, Arizona, just outside of Phoenix, AZ. Greg Smith Equipment chose to locate in the Phoenix market area to better service our customers in Arizona, California, Nevada, Utah, New Mexico, Colorado and other Western states. Our Arizona location affords our valued customers an opportunity to see our products on display and either pick up their products at our store, or enjoy reduced shipping costs. The showroom displays lifts, tire changers, wheel balancers, and other service shop equipment.
Greg Smith Equipment has a warehouse and showroom in Hudson, New Hampshire (just outside of Nashua). Hudson is about 45 minutes north of Boston, Massachusetts and about 2 hours southwest of Portland, Maine. Only a limited supply of our most popular products are available from this location. If you would like to see a particular product on display, please call our office to see if it is on display at our Hudson showroom. There is no sales tax in New Hampshire.
In February of 2011, Greg Smith Equipment Sales opened a new showroom and warehouse in Miami, Florida. Our Miami, Florida warehouse and showroom allows our customers in South Florida the opportunity to see products on display. We have lifts, tire changers, wheel balancers and other shop equipment on display for customers to see the high quality of our equipment in person and save money on freight costs by being able to pick up their product. The Greg Smith Equipment Sales Miami, Florida location will also save our Latin American and Caribbean customers a tremendous amount of money on freight costs. We have both English and Spanish speaking sales reps standing by to answer any questions you might have.
Greg Smith Equipment Sales has a warehouse and showroom in Austin, Texas. Austin, Texas is conveniently located between Dallas/Fort Worth, Houston and San Antonio. If you would like to see a particular product on display, please call our office to see if it is on display at our Austin showroom.
In September of 2014, Greg Smith Equipment Sales opened a new distribution and showroom facility in Milwaukie, Oregon, a suburb of Portland, Oregon. Greg Smith Equipment chose Oregon to better service our customers in the Pacific Northwest. Customers in Northern California, Nevada, Idaho, Oregon and Washington will be able to take advantage of faster delivery times and increased savings in shipping costs.
In January of 2016, Greg Smith Equipment Sales opened its 9th showroom in Grimes, Iowa – a suburb of Des Moines, Iowa. Greg Smith Equipment chose Iowa to better serve our customers in the eastern part of the Midwest. The Iowa location has lifts, tire changer, wheel balancers and other shop equipment on display. In August of 2017, Greg Smith Equipment Sales opened its 10th showroom in Somerset, New Jersey. Greg Smith Equipment chose New Jersey to better serve our customers on and around the east coast. The New Jersey location has limited products for pick up and should be contacted for available products.
